Southern Governorate launches ‘Smart Office’ initiative

The Southern Governorate has come up with a smart office initiative for enhancing communication with people and keeping essential service rolling while curbing the spread of deadly coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Governor of the Southern Governorate, inaugurated the initiative in the presence of Brigadier General Issa Thamer Al Dossari, Deputy Governor.
The project, the Governor said, leverages technology infrastructure to enhance communication and provide smart services to the citizens here.
The initiative also helps the administration understand the security and service requirement of the province. The smart map that comes along with it highlights existing public utilities and service projects within the province.
