Fire brought under control in Riffa: Ministry tweets

Bahrain’s civil defence forces managed to douse a fire that broke out in a residential building in the Riffa area on Friday. It took four vehicles, twelve officers and other personnel to bring the fire under control.
Initial reports indicate a lack of safety measures in the kitchen has led to the fire. The original cause of the fire is not yet determined. An investigation is ongoing.
Separately, MoI tweeted that a fire in a house in the Karzakan area was put out by the Civil Defence team. No injuries were reported. Initial investigation indicates the fire originated from the kitchen, which was not in compliance with fire regulations.
