Bahrain registers 228 new active COVID-19 cases

Bahrain’s overall coronavirus (COVID-19) cases count went over the 7,000-mark yesterday, with 4,241 of them active as of last night. The Ministry of Health announced the registration of 228 new active cases.
From these, 141 are among expatriate workers and 87 are contacts of active cases. From the 4,241 active cases, eight are critical while the rest are stable. The Health Ministry also announced yesterday 21 new recoveries from COVID-19.
After confirming that the patients are free of the virus, they have been discharged from isolation and treatment centres. The total number of recoveries, as of last night, reached 2,931. The total tested went to 243,301.
