HRH the Crown Prince holds virtual meeting with US officials

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, met remotely yesterday with American Ambassador Justin H. Siberell and US Naval Forces Central Command Commander Vice-Admiral James Malloy.
HRH the Crown Prince highlighted the continued support of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa towards expanding longstanding ties and creating an ongoing avenue for cooperation between Bahrain and the US across all vital sectors, including defence.
HRH the Crown Prince noted that the unprecedented challenge posed by the coronavirus (COVID-19) requires integrated and collective efforts to ensure the safety and health of all. In this regard, HRH underscored the importance of further advancing cooperation between both countries at all levels.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views on regional and international developments. Bahrain Defence Force Chiefof-Staff Lt.-General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi was also in attendance.
