Indian Club Bahrain announces chartered repatriation flights to India.

The Indian Club, Bahrain is set to be operating charted repatriation flights to carry Indian nationals stranded in Bahrain to the southern Indian cities of Bangalore and Calicut.

Passengers are expected to pay for their own flight tickets. "The cost per ticket to Calicut is BD100 and to Bangalore is BD120", said Indian Club President, Stalin Joseph to TDT.

"Seeing the difficult situation that many from our community are in, we are working to arrange for quick and convenient solutions for the people," said Joseph.

Those with special reasons to fly back home will be given priority while choosing the passengers. 

As per the Indian Embassy guidelines, Indians with expired visit visas, loss of employment, pregnant women, elderly citizens with other ailments, children separated from their families, and registered Indian Club members will be given priority while the passenger list is decided. 

The Club is working towards future plans for repatriation flights to other Indian cities too.
