Three arrested in 24 hours for stealing BD2,000

Three people were arrested yesterday, in less than 24 hours, for stealing BD2,000 from an Asian resident in Bahrain. The trio was a group of Asian, Bahraini and Arab nationals, of which two of them impersonated security men to stage the robbery.
Capital Governorate Police Directorate, director-general announced that his team tracked them down and arrested them within a day after registering a complaint. He explained that upon receiving the case, investigators jumped into action immediately.
The Police Directorate was able to then identify and arrest the trio swiftly, after which the stolen sum was seized. The director-general said required legal measures are being taken, for referring the case to the Public Prosecution.
