Al Raja board discusses new academic year

Al Raja School Board of Managers held a virtual meeting, chaired by board director Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa, with the participation of school principal Joshua Perkins. Other members also took part, including Mahasen Al Ameer, Daniel Taylor, Alasdair McLaren, Pastor Gregorio Estacio, Dr. Isa Al Khayat, Scott Engelsman, Brian Field, Lindsay Nyhoff and Maria Rosario.

Dr. Shaikha Rana reviewed the efforts of the school to provide services of the highest quality during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. She also wished the school continued success and progress. The board discussed the plans and measures to be taken with the beginning of the next academic year in September, to ensure the health and safety of students and teachers.

It agreed to provide facilitations to parents in need, in addition to the discount granted to all students, given these difficult times. A number of educational programmes and initiatives were also reviewed to contribute to raising the level of education and its output in the school.
