KHK Media announces winners of short film competition

Under the initiative of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, KHK Media Group has announced the winners of a short film competition held to capture the changing times the world is currently witnessing. The competition was organised by KHK Media Group in partnership with The Daily Tribune, 4PM, and the Ministry of Information Affairs.

An overwhelming number of submissions were recorded, highlighting the creativeness of people in the Kingdom, as artists have been eager to share their vision and thoughts on the subject through their videos.

The judging panel featured prominent names such as KHK Media Group documentary department chief Omar Salman Al Slaise, Information Affairs Ministry senior director Ahmed Matter Al Amairi, Information Affairs Ministry director Mahmood Yahya Al Shaikh, Bahraini filmmaker and Bahrain Cinema Club board member Mohammed Ebrahim Mohammed, The Daily Tribune director Adv. Jaleel McIndies, and artist, architect and The Bahrain Arts Society media director Mahdi Taher Al Jallawi.
