Bahrain voices solidarity with Iraq

Bahrain, yesterday condemned the terrorist attack that took place in Diyala Governorate in the Republic of Iraq, resulting in multiple deaths and injuries of locals. The Foreign Ministry issued a statement in solidarity with the Republic of Iraq in its fight against terrorism.
The statement expressed sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured speedy recovery, stressing on Bahrain’s condemnation towards all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism. Bahrain called for concerted international efforts in the global fight to eradicate the scourge of terrorism. The official statement also highlighted the importance of making sure that sources of funding for such activities are cut off.
