Capital Governorate continues distribution in food drive

The Capital Governorate, in cooperation with its Police Directorate, continued to distribute food packages within the “Your Food in Your Home” project, launched by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior.

The initiative is within the “Feena Khair” national campaign launched by His Majesty the King’s Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs representative, National Security Advisor and Royal Humanitarian Foundation Board of Trustees chairman HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

A distribution activity took place in the presence of Philippine Ambassador to Bahrain Alfonso Ver, along with the Capital Governorate’s Community Affairs Department head Ahmed Al Rabei and Strategic Planning and Project Management Department head Youssef Lowry.

The food packages were handed out to a number of charities, families and volunteers, in addition to the direct distribution to certain homes within the capital. The Governorate will keep up its coordination with the cooperating parties to deliver aid in support of the project, which contributes to the concept of community partnership and promotes solidarity in society
