RHF donates 10,000 masks to Interior Ministry

Some 10,000 high-quality multi-use masks produced by productive families were donated by Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) to the Interior ministry. RHF’s Secretary-General and the Coordination Committee Chairman, Dr Mustafa Al-Sayed Al-Ameen said the move forms part of the objectives outlined by the “Feena Khair” Campaign Coordination Committee.
The campaign is implementing projects worth BD 17.3 million to support needy segments, productive families, and business owners who are not subject to the insurance system amid coronavirus pandemic.
Fund will be used to provide computers to students from needy families, food baskets within the “Your Food at Your Home”, sanitising towns and villages, studying the establishment of an epidemics treatment centre, supporting distant learning applications and helping people with unpaid fines.
The initiative supports the national efforts to combat the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), led by HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
The move also falls in line with the directives of HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and the RHF’s Board of Trustees Chairman, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The RHF and Interior Ministry is also cooperating on “Your Feed at Your Home” to deliver food baskets to the needy citizens and residents at their homes, and in the distribution of masks to those who need them.
