Self-isolation exit test appointment bookings online

The Information and eGovernment Authority (IGA) announced yesterday that individuals who are under home isolation can book their self-isolation exit test appointment via the “BeAware” Bahrain app. In a tweet put out from the ministry’s official account, their announcement clarified that the new feature of the app only allows self-isolating users to book the exit appointment.

The exit test itself will take place as usual, at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre via a drive-through testing service booth that has been set up there. This allows all the individuals who are self-isolating to take the test from their own cars, not having to leave their private spaces.

Users of the “BeAware” app can book their exit test appointments three days before their government-mandated self-isolation period is scheduled to end. Once they have gone through the drive-through test, they do not need to go back to receive their test results. It can easily be viewed on the app. The tweet from IGA’s official twitter account also advised residents and citizens to download the app from the url- http://bahrain.bh/apps.
