‘Bahrainouna’ contest winners announced

The executive office of the national plan “Bahrainouna” has announced the winners of the photography and videography contest “Bahrain Through Our Lens”. The contest started on January 8 and lasted for a whole month, with a total of 500 creative works from more than 210 participants.
All entries were evaluated by a jury, in addition to electronic voting by the public, with more than 3,760 votes during the voting phase from February 16 to March 31.In the photography category, as per the jury’s assessment, Sanaullah Muhammad Ali won the Khalifa Shaheen Photography Award for first place with a cash prize of BD500, while Isa Saleh Isa Al Taraif took second place with a cash prize of BD300.
Third place was claimed by Ahmed Yusuf Ahmed Sayyad with a cash prize of BD200. Fatema Foozy Ahmed Khalaf received the highest number of public votes through the “Bahrainouna” website, earning a cash prize of BD300. In the Videography category, Mohamed Sadeq Al Asfoor’s creative work was the highest rated by the jury, and he won a cash prize of BD300.
Peter Anthony JR Villarba Lee received the highest number of public online votes to win a cash prize of BD300.
