Friday Dawn Shooters (FDS), an enthusiastic group of photographers in Bahrain have released a first of its kind e-book, titled ‘Bahrainona: Visuals from our timeline’.
The coffee-table style e-book holds a collection of over 500 stunning photographs showcasing the beauty of the island nation. The images, shot exclusively in Bahrain, feature landscapes, cityscapes, street-shots, birds, animals, and people.
Pictures in the collection stand testimony to the immense beauty of the Kingdom and draws viewers into exploring unseen facets of the place.
Most of the photos featured in ‘Bahrainona’ were taken during weekly photo-walks organized by FDS. Started by a small group of photography enthusiasts in 2013, the group now consists of over 200 members.
They meet at dawn at pre-announced locations every Friday to explore the full photographic potential of the place. Members of the group are hardcore photography enthusiasts who show utmost dedication and passion towards the art of photography.
FDS also organizes regular photography workshops and genre-oriented photo-walks.
FDS chief editor Fahad Asab and his team including Deepak Sudhakaran, Asim K. V., Preju Suresh, Fathema Qader, and Dr. Krishna Kumar put in all their efforts to create this delightful book. The ‘Bahrainona’ e-book can be read on https://issuu.com/fdsbahrain/docs/bahrainona_final
