On behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa attended the high school graduation ceremony of the fifth batch of Riffa Views International School. The ceremony, held for 28 graduates at Arcapita Gardens in Bahrain Bay, was attended by school staff and relatives of the successful students.
HM the King’s Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs representative, National Security Adviser and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman was proud to attend the ceremony on behalf of HM the King, who is always keen to support education and provide students with the best environments to acquire knowledge.
HM the King’s stance is evident in all of his recent directives, which enable students to carry on with their education despite the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and encourage them to embrace alternative approaches, mainly remote learning. HH Shaikh Nasser congratulated the graduates and encouraged them not to be affected by the global challenges that the coronavirus has brought along.
He applauded their determination and their parents’ support. HH Shaikh Nasser highlighted the significance of the next stage of the graduates’ lives. He also praised the school faculty’s outstanding efforts to ensure the students’ success.
Among the graduating cohort was Her Highness Shaikha Rima bint Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Also in attendance were Shaikh Ahmed bin Salman bin Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, board chairman Atif Ahmed Abdulmalik, school head Tara Waudby, principal Danielle Pinkerton and faculty member Heather Meinen.
