Committee urges students to be wary of unauthorised certifications

The National Committee for the Evaluation of Academic Qualifications has encouraged students to review its guidelines for higher studies abroad, published on the e-government website, in order to avoid having to face problems after graduation.
This came during the committee’s virtual meeting, chaired by the Education Ministry’s Education and Curricula Affairs undersecretary and committee head Dr Fawzi Abdulrahman Al Jowder. During the meeting, the committee reviewed issues of academic qualifications granted by unauthorised institutions.
It also discussed requests to examine specialisation qualifications that include medicine, engineering, sciences, law, political science, business administration, humanities and nursing. Furthermore, the committee postponed the decisions on other requests that need further investigation.
