Galali housing project deal signed

The Ministry of Housing has secured the contracts to build the Galali housing project in Block 255, funded by the Gulf Development Programme. Housing Ministry undersecretary Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and Saleh Abdullah Al Muhanna Contracting Company representative from Saudi Arabia Salman Al Jasser signed the agreement.

The Galali housing project includes 194 units and land for building a mosque. Construction work is scheduled to last 20 months and the houses will be delivered at the end of the first quarter of 2022. The ministry said the project represents a new housing achievement to be added to the list of accomplishments during the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and a new step towards implementing HM the King’s order to build 40,000 housing units.

The project also reflects the vision of the government, headed by His Royal Highness the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister, to ensure adequate housing for citizens in accordance with the highest standards.
