Capital Governorate receives 30,000 donated face masks

The Capital Governorate has received 30,000 face masks from German Medical Centre as part of the “Together We Care” campaign launched by the governorate last April. Capital Governor Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa received the donations from German Medical Centre officials Fatima Salem and Abdullatif Ismail.
The Capital Governor thanked them for their charitable initiative and praised the social role of German Medical Centre, which has emerged through its participation in supporting this campaign. The Capital Governor emphasised that the governorate will continue to coordinate with those interested donations to support the distribution of face masks until the end of the current coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis.
He added that such donations contribute to activating the concept of community partnership and enhancing solidarity, which is an important indicator in the development of societies.
