Muharraq police distribute 10,000 food baskets

Muharraq Governorate Police Department announced distributing 10,000 food baskets as part of the Feena Khair national campaign. The campaign, held under the patronage of the Governor of Muharraq Governorate, Salman bin Isa bin Hindi Al-Mannai, was launched by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Royal Humanitarian Foundation Board of Trustees’ Chairman.

Brigadier Saleh Rashid Al-Dossary, Director General of Muharraq Governorate Police Directorate said the food baskets were given to needy families and migrant workers in various areas of Muharraq Governorate with the participation of charities, volunteers and representatives of the embassies in the Kingdom.

Also participating were the Office of the Assistant Chief of Public Security for Operations and Training Affairs and the Community Service Police in the Directorate. The Director-General said the directorate continues to take all precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the virus by holding awareness campaigns and ensuring commitment to wearing face masks in public places and shops and maintaining social distance.
