Malaysian envoy backs Bahrain
Malaysian Ambassador Shahizan Abd Samad has backed Bahrain to lead Arab nations in mending the employment issues in the region.
Mr. Samad, who took part in the First Annual Global Employers’ Summit yesterday, opined that Bahrain could play a vital role in fighting unemployment, decreasing labour and employment problems in the Middle East.
Congratulating, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa on the success of the summit, he said that the event would put Bahrain on international map.
“Bahrain has always led the way, not only here in the Gulf, but also in the Arab world. Bahrain must look at labour issues, employment issues as well as sustainability, to increase employability in younger generations. The Gulf has a big number of youth. They need to be developed with good education and skills. Bahrain can take a leadership role in all these aspects, ” he told DT News.
