Solid economic environment essential: CP

Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday received senior participants of the first annual Global Employers’ Summit, at Gudaibiya Palace.

The Crown Prince highlighted that creating a solid economic environment conducive to providing employment opportunities for Bahrain’s citizens is a vital component of continuing to improvestandards of living. In this regard, Prince Salman highlighted that as part of His Majesty the King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s programme of reform and development, the Kingdom will continue to work with specialised international organisations in order to further strengthen Bahrain’s labour market.

The Crown Prince also praised the efforts of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) in organising the summit, emphasising that it has brought together a significant number of high­level international experts to exchange ideas on ways to create new job opportunities for citizens in the region.

The delegates expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to meet with the Crown Prince and noted important role of Prince Salman in supporting the Kingdom’s economic development. Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al­Khalifa was also present on the occasion.
