US Embassy launches photo exhibit

Celebrating the shared history of Bahraini-American relations and coinciding with the 231st anniversary of the US State Department, the US Embassy launched yesterday the “Anchored in Alliance” photo exhibit. Compiled by Meridien House, an American NGO, with the help of Bahraini and American scholars, the exhibit traces 120 years of Bahraini-American partnership, starting with the teachers and doctors who built the first hospital and girls’ school in the region.
The US Embassy said in a statement: “We welcome you to join us and to share your thoughts about the exhibit and your personal memories about the rich history of engagement between our two countries on the following website: meridianculture. org/anchored-home.”
