Southern Governorate receives 3,000 locally made, donated face masks

The Southern Governorate has received 3,000 locally made face masks from a number of civil institutions. Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa was on hand to receive the donations.
He confirmed that governorate efforts are continuing to strengthen precautionary measures to combat the coronavirus (COVID-19), in partnership with various security departments, including the Southern Governorate Police Directorate.
The Southern Governor praised the initiatives of civil societies and their important role in developing community partnership through the activation of measures that benefit citizens and residents of the Southern Governorate, as the Kingdom presses on in its fight against the pandemic.
