Four in the dock for detaining woman, forcing her into prostitution

Two Bangladeshi men and two Indonesian women are in the dock for locking up an Indonesian woman and forcing her into prostitution, the High Criminal Court has heard. The defendants are said to have previously facilitated the escape of the woman from her sponsor, as she was pursuing another employment opportunity.
She was promised with a better workplace, but she ended up being compelled to become a prostitute, with the four defendants netting her earnings. The quartet reportedly detained the woman in a building in Hoora, where she was later saved by police officers after receiving a tip about her situation. The defendants are expected to learn of their fate on August 25.
