Three COVID-19 deaths; 390 new active cases

Three lives were taken by the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Bahrain yesterday, the Ministry of Health announced. The deceased included a Bahraini man and an expatriate man who were both aged 64, along with a 54-year-old expatriate man. Their passing brought the total number of virus-related casualties in Bahrain to 144. The ministry expressed its condolences to the victims’ families.
Meanwhile, the Health Ministry announced early this morning that from 9,332 COVID-19 tests conducted yesterday, 390 new cases were detected amongst 224 expatriate workers and 164 contacts of active cases, with two being travel-related. There were also 389 additional recoveries from COVID-19 yesterday.
