Bahrain welcomes Lithuania’s designation of Hezbollah as terrorist organisation

Bahrain welcomed Lithuania’s decision designating “Hezbollah” as a terrorist organisation. The blacklisting prevents the affiliates of Hezbollah from entering Lithuania for 10 years. “It is a constructive and important step in supporting the efforts to combat extremist terrorist organisations,” Lithuanian authorities said.
Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its appreciation of the efforts of Lithuania in fighting terrorism and confronting terrorist organisations. The Kingdom of Bahrain statement also called for strengthening the efforts of the international community to eliminate terrorism in all its forms and dry up its sources of financing
