COVID-19 takes three lives; 401 new recoveries

The Ministry of Health reported three deaths in Bahrain yesterday due to the coronavirus (COVID-19), including a 55-year-old Bahraini woman and two expatriate men, aged 42 and 49. Their passing brought the total number of lives taken by COVID-19 in the Kingdom to 173.

Meanwhile, the Health Ministry announced early this morning that out of 9,205 COVID-19 tests conducted yesterday, 350 new cases were detected. These included 147 expatriate workers and 203 contacts of active cases. There were also 401 additional recoveries from the virus yesterday, bringing the discharged total to 43,529.

The total number of current active cases decreased slightly to 3,483, with 42 in critical condition and 93 receiving treatment. The total tests conducted in Bahrain increased to 981,208.The total tests conducted in Bahrain increased to 981,208.
