HRH the Crown Prince meets remotely with outgoing Fifth Fleet commander

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister met remotely yesterday with US Naval Forces Central Command, US Fifth Fleet and Combined Maritime Forces outgoing commander Vice Admiral James J Malloy.

During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince highlighted the long-standing ties between Bahrain and the US, which continue to receive the support of His Majesty the King. HRH the Crown Prince highlighted the importance of further strengthening bilateral cooperation across various fields.

HRH the Crown Prince extended his thanks and best wishes to Vice Admiral Malloy for his role in further enhancing bilateral cooperation and coordination, particularly in military cooperation and defence. Regional and international issues of common interest were also reviewed during the remote meeting.

Vice Admiral Malloy extended his gratitude and appreciation towards HRH the Crown Prince for his support and commitment to further strengthening Bahrain-US relations, and wished the Kingdom future prosperity
