Two arrested for selling shabu worth BD18,000

Two individuals have been arrested for possessing shabu worth an estimated BD18,000, the Ministry of Interior announced last night. The ministry said that the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science director-general reported the detention of a 32-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman in implementing anti-drug laws.
The director-general added that after receiving information on the case, an investigation was carried out that led to the identification and arrest of the culprits. The drugs and money were seized, and legal measures have been taken, in order to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
