Man arrested for vandalising parked cars

A 41-year-old man has been arrested for vandalising two parked cars in the Capital Governorate, the Ministry of Interior reported. The ministry stated that the Capital Governorate Police Department’s director-general said that he had received information about two cars being deliberately damaged by an unknown individual.
The man was alleged to have broken the cars’ windows and slashed the tires. Following this, Capital Governorate Police began its investigation, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science, which led to the culprit’s identification and arrest.
The man confessed to his crimes saying that he had a personal dispute with the cars’ owners. The director-general indicated that legal measures have been taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
