New Hijri Year greetings exchanged

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of good wishes from His Royal Highness the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa on the New Hijri Year 1442. HRH the Premier expressed heartfelt congratulations to HM the King, wishing him, Bahrain, and its people as well as Arab and Islamic nations many happy returns.

HM the King sent a cable of thanks replying to HRH the Prime Minister, wishing him abundant health and a long life. He also wished Bahrain, as well as all Arab and Islamic nations, many happy returns. His Majesty King Hamad also received a cable of good wishes from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.

HRH the Crown Prince expressed his heartfelt congratulations to HM the King, and wished him, Bahrain, and its people as well as all Arab and Islamic nations many happy returns. He also prayed to Allah Almighty to end the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and bless people with good health. HM the King sent a reply cable thanking HRH the Crown Prince, and wishing him abundant health.

He thanked him for his noble feelings, and wished Bahrain many happy returns under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. HM King Hamad exchanged congratulatory cables on the occasion with GCC, Arab and Islamic countries’ leaders. HM the King expressed heartfelt congratulations to them, wishing their countries and peoples many happy returns.

He also prayed to Allah Almighty to protect all from the COVID-19 pandemic and return life to normal soon. HRH the Prime Minister and HRH the Crown Prince also exchanged congratulatory cables on the New Hijri Year 1442 with GCC, Arab and Islamic countries’ leaders.

Meanwhile, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad, on the advent of the New Hijri Year 1442, the Royal Court started distributing its annual donations, through the Sunni and Jafari Endowments Directorates, to charity societies and Hussaini community centres.
