World Champion to speak in Bahrain
The 2015 World Champion of Public Speaking of Toastmasters International will be addressing toastmasters in Bahrain on October 9 at Bahrain Society of Engineers, Juffair.
Isa bin Abdulrahman Al Hammadi, the Minister for Information Affairs and Parliament Affairs will be the Chief Guest.
Mohammed Al Qahtani of Saudi Arabia, who became the first ever Arab toastmaster to win the prestigious award at Las Vegas, in August this year, will be addressing the various toastmasters clubs of Bahrain, and also those interested in public speaking.
Over 300 people are expected to participate in this interactive event, being organised by Filipino Club Toastmasters along with the three Divisions of District 20 of Toastmasters International.
"It will not only be a great honour for Bahrain's toastmasters to host the first Arab World Champion of Public Speaking here, but also it will be a rare privilege for all of us here to learn how he went on to win the championships" said the organising committee chairman Mohd Ali Shukri. The event will start on Friday at 4pm.
