Municipal fees reduced, exempted for 164 families

Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Eng Essam Khalaf issued edicts to reduce and exempt municipal fees for 164 Bahraini families who live in rentals for July. This came to implement the directives of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister to reduce the living burdens on citizens, and within the framework of the Cabinet’s decision to equate renting citizens’ municipal fees with home owners.
The minister said that these decisions come from His Majesty the King’s constant care to provide a decent life for all citizens, by reducing municipal fees and exempting them for some. He pointed out that the ministry seeks to invest all its capabilities and resources to improve the standards of living for citizens and reduce municipal fees.
