SCW’s achievements hailed

Bahrain Journalists’ Association (BJA) president Ahdeya Ahmed Al Sayed has extended congratulations to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) president, on the SCW’s 19th Anniversary.

She expressed pride in the SCW’s landmark achievements which, she said, have become crystal clear to everyone and contributed to raising awareness on the role of women in the sustainable development process.

BJA chief lauded the major role played by HRH Princess Sabeeka in ensuring the success of the commendable efforts of the SCW, affirming that many society-directed projects launched by the SCW have achieved their objectives.

She indicated that the fruitful efforts made by official entities and NGOs, as well as those of the national media, have contributed to consolidating the success of the role of Bahraini women in society and increasing their participation in building the nation, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and thanks to the unwavering support of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and the constant follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
