Foreign Minister receives prestigious Saudi honour

Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani was presented with the King Abdulaziz Sash of the second degree, at the behest of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, in recognition of his services during his tenure as the GCC secretary-general.
This came during his visit to brotherly Saudi Arabia, where he met with his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud at the Saudi Foreign Ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh. Dr Al Zayani expressed his deep gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the thoughtful gesture and high honour, and extended his deep thanks and appreciation for the support he received during his tenure as GCC secretary-general from the wise Saudi leadership and the honourable Saudi people, and the continuous cooperation he received from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which made it easy for him to carry out the tasks and responsibilities entrusted to him by the leaders of the GCC countries.
