Bahrain, Tunisia sign agreement

Bahrain and Tunisia have signed a joint cooperation agreement to promote administrative governance, electronic administration and quality excellence in the public sector.

Cabinet Affairs Minister Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Mutawa sealed the deal with Tunisia Minister in Charge of the General Secretariat of the Government Ahmed Zarrouk on the sidelines of the 2nd Conference of the Middle East and NorthAfrica Public Administration Research Network (MENAPAR), being held in Tunis.

Public Administration (BIPA) is holding the conference in cooperation with the Tunisbased Arab Governance Institute (AGI) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and other regional and international organisations.

(BIPA) President, head of the Middle East and NorthAfrica Public Administration Research Network (MENAPAR) attended the signing of the agreement, along with other senior officials.

Mr. Al Mutawa hailed strong relations between Bahrain and Tunisia, stressing the cooperation agreement which, he said,  would bolster joint ties through intensive staff professional development training programmes.
