Zero COVID-19 deaths

Bahrain’s health officials yesterday reported zero coronavirus related deaths for the second time this week, keeping the country’s toll unchanged at 189. The Kingdom has so far confirmed 51,319 cases of COVID-19 and reported 48,275 recoveries in a country of 1.71 million population.

The Ministry of Health in a tweet yesterday said there are currently 52 coronavirus patients in the Kingdom receiving treatment, out of which 32 patents are in a critical condition. Some 2,972 active patients are there now, of which 2,895 patients are health-wise stable, according to the ministry.

Health officials announced conducting 6,955 COVID-19 tests yesterday bringing the total number of tests conducted till date to 1,095,373 Bahrain also reported 278 new cases yesterday, out of which 111 are expatriate workers, 165 are contacts of active cases, and two are travel related. Besides, the health ministry officials yesterday announced 48,275 new recoveries.
