Repatriation flight departs for Trivandrum

An Air India Express flight carrying 176 passengers departed Bahrain yesterday for Trivandrum. The repatriation flight was part of the Indian government’s Vande Bharat Mission to fly home Indian nationals stranded abroad amidst the global coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis.Among the passengers on board were three infants, according to the Indian Embassy’s social media. Several other flights are scheduled to leave until September 9 for various other Indian cities.
