Restaurants, cafes monitoring to be stepped up
TDT | Manama
Monitoring campaigns will be stepped up on restaurants and cafés as they begin from today offering outdoor dining services, as part of the second stage of Bahrain’s phased re-opening. This was revealed last night by Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Control and Resources assistant undersecretary Abdulaziz Al-Ashraf, who said that the ministry’s inspection department will be keeping a watchful eye to ensure that all the concerned establishments fully adhere to the health and safety requirements issued by authorities, to limit the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Al-Ashraf noted that the ministry is working with other relevant bodies to monitor the implementation of these measures.
