Building collapses, leaving two families homeless
Two families in Karana village last night escaped death by surviving their collapsing house. The two families, comprising of a total of 15 members, barely escaped when parts of their 3-storey building started collapsing.
Police, as well as the Civil Defense first, responded and closed the area surrounding the building as a precautionary procedure. Social media is rallying to provide help to the families as comments indicated that they are now homeless since the collapsed house is no longer inhabitable.
