Bahrain’s Foreign Minister holds talks with the President of Egypt

Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the President of Egypt, yesterday praised the strong brotherly relations Egypt enjoys with Bahrain, also affirming his keenness to develop the ties further. This came as the Egyptian president received at Heliopolis Palace Bahrain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani.
The Minister conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to President El-Sisi, and their wishes of continued prosperity to Egypt and its people.
President El-Sisi requested the Minister to convey his greetings to His Majesty the King and his wishes of further development to the Kingdom and its people. The Minister of Foreign Affairs highlighting the strategic role of Egypt in consolidating regional security and peace.
He also hailed the Egyptian stances in preserving Arab national security and defending their causes, affirming the solidarity of Bahrain with Egypt in all measures it takes to protect its national security and defend its sovereignty and interests.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, Sameh Shoukry, Ambassador of Bahrain to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, Hisham Mohammed Al-Jowder, and the Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency, Bassam Radhy.
