Man arrested in Gudaibiya stabbing incident

A man has been arrested after he stabbed another with a sharp object, causing a severe injury, the Ministry of Interior said yesterday. The ministry stated that the Capital Governorate Police director-general reported the arrest of the 39-year-old, who stabbed the 26-year-old victim in the Gudaibiya area.
The director-general explained that, upon receiving the report of the incident, the directorate’s police conducted a search and investigation, which resulted in the identification and arrest of the aggressor. The tool used to commit the crime was also seized from his possession.
It was later determined that the reason behind the incident was a personal dispute. The director-general indicated that all legal measures are being taken in preparation for the referral of the arrested person to the Public Prosecution.
