A proposal for a desire to open a new branch to inspect vehicles in Hamad City

Manama

Deputy Bassem Al-Maliki submitted a parliamentary proposal to open a branch for checking cars in Hamad Town , in order to ease the technical inspection headquarters of the General Traffic Department.

MP Al-Maliki indicated that the government's work program is based on continuous development and efficiency of services provided to citizens, as well as urging the private sector and facilitating the task for them, stressing that the opening of a branch in Hamad City is in accordance with the terms and conditions governing the opening of new centers for technical inspection in line with the quality of what is provided by the General Traffic Department.

Al-Maliki stated that the proposal is in line with the general orientation of the government's work program, which focuses on developing government services provided to citizens and residents. The explanatory note for the proposal stated that, given the mandatory technical inspection of vehicles and trucks in the Kingdom of Bahrain in accordance with Traffic Law No. 23 of 2014 and Article No. 8, which requires technical inspection, it stipulates that the vehicle is technically examined at the time and place specified by the administration after paying the prescribed fee for the inspection or service fee.
