Restaurant inspections conducted in Northern Governorate

A team led by Deputy Northern Governor Brigadier General Khalid Al Dossary visited a number of restaurants in various locations within the district to review the preparations made in accordance with the requirements and controls for the resumption of outdoor dining services.

The deputy governor was accompanied by representatives from the Ministry of Health; Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism; and the Northern Governorate Police Directorate, along with a number of governorate officials.

The inspection visits are in line with the follow-up on precautionary and preventive measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, in accordance with the directives of the Coordinating Committee, headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.

The deputy governor expressed his appreciation for the commitment and compliance he witnessed and stressed the importance of utmost care in dealing with COVID-19, for the health and safety of all. He stressed that the governorate is keen to continue following up on all measures to limit the virus’ spread.
