One more COVID-19 death

Bahrain yesterday announced reported a COVID-19 related death increasing the total number of casualties in the Kingdom to 208. An 84-year-old Bahrain man is the latest fatality in the Kingdom’s battle against the pandemic, said the Ministry of Health on its twitter handle. Announcing the death, the ministry tweeted its condolences to the family of the deceased.
According to MoH, there are currently 93 COVID-19 patients in the Kingdom receiving treatment, of which 29 patients are in a critical state. Some 5,855 active cases are also there in the Kingdom, out of which 5,826 patients are health-wise stable. The ministry carried out 11,239 COVID-19 tests in the Kingdom, raising the overall number of tests carried out in the Kingdom to 1,230,227.
Health officials reported 632 new cases yesterday, of which 77 are expatriate workers, 549 are contacts of active cases, and six are travel related. By recording 492 new recoveries yesterday, the Kingdom also raise the number of people cured of their infection so far in the Kingdom to 52,776.
