WMC Toastmasters club holds symposium on ‘Decoding Leadership’

World Malayali Council (WMC) Toastmasters Club, one of the largest of Toastmasters Clubs in Bahrain, commemorated its 400th meeting on Friday, with a symposium on the theme ‘Decoding Leadership’ exploring the core values of leadership in turbulent times. Prof. Dr Ambassador Mohan Kumar, former Ambassador of India to Bahrain and France and Gopi Kallayil, Chief Evangelist, Digital Transformation and Strategy at Google, took part.

A panel discussion on the theme ‘Decoding Leadership’ had Meliksah Utku, CEO and Board member of AlBaraka Bank, Turkey, Shyam Sekhar, Chief Ideator and founder of iThought Advisory and Faisal Babu, IT Governance and ERM Specialist, Gulf Drilling International as participants.

WMC Toastmasters speakers Murali Udaykanth and Abdul Rahim also took to stage with their inspirational leadership speeches. A video presentation of the history and achievements of WMC Toastmasters was screened during the meeting.

Attended by over a hundred guests, the meeting streamed live on YouTube. Husain Al Ansari, the former GM of BAPCO, District and Division officials of Toastmasters, former members of WMC and guests were present.
