Tunisian MPs rejects Iranian prying

Several members of the Tunisian Assembly of the Representatives of the People expressed their support for the measures undertaken by the Kingdom of Bahrain to protect its security and stability, and rejected the Iranian interference in Bahrain's internal affairs.

They also affirmed Bahrain’s right to submit an official complaint to the United Nations to preserve the national and regional security.

This came as Bahrain’s parliamentary delegation, headed by the Shura Council Member Dalal Al-Zayed met Tunisian MPs.

Al-Zayed valued the Tunisian parliamentary experience, in terms of the depth of the assembly’s legislative system and the representation of Tunisian women. He noted that the exchange of parliamentary experience would enrich the legislative work in line with each country’s nature.

She gave an extensive explanation about the Kingdom’s constitutional amendments and laws, as well as the actions taken by the legislative branch and the government to achieve social and economic development.
