Finance Minister takes part in vaccine trials

Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa have volunteered for Bahrain’s phase three clinical trials of the coronavirus (COVID-19) inactivated vaccine. This was revealed yesterday by the Ministry of Health, which posted a picture of Shaikh Salman receiving the vaccine.
Health officials have called on more volunteers to take part in the trials, which aims to involve 6,000 citizens and residents. Those interested may visit the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre between 8 am and 8 pm every day.
The trials are open to interested volunteers above the age of 18, who do not suffer from chronic or underlying conditions. All volunteers must also go through a mandatory health examination before being administered the vaccine
