Assistant Foreign Minister receives US Embassy chargé d’affaires

Assistant Foreign Minister Abdulla bin Faisal bin Jabur Al Doseri received yesterday US Embassy chargé d’affaires Margaret Nardi. The assistant minister expressed pride in the distinguished historical relations between the Kingdom and the US and praised the continuous development of bilateral ties in all fields.
He valued the effective participation of the US chargé d’affaires in the recently held workshop on the role of the media, the press, and the National Action Plan for Human Rights, stressing the importance of continuing joint cooperation and coordination in various fields in a way that serves the interests of the two friendly countries and people.
The US chargé d’affaires commended the depth of the strategic relations between Bahrain and the US and praised the efforts of the Kingdom to enhance stability, security, and peace in the region. She wished Bahrain further progress and prosperity. The two sides also discussed a number of issues of common concern.
