Top health official calls to avoid gatherings

Ministry of Health undersecretary Dr. Waleed Khalifa Al Manea called to avoid gatherings during the upcoming two weeks, in order to decrease the number of people infected by the coronavirus (COVID-19). Dr. Al Manea highlighted Bahrain’s efforts in prioritizing the health of its citizens and residents and noted that the Kingdom has taken all preventive measures to combat the virus and its spread since the beginning of the pandemic across the world.
Dr. Al Manea explained the danger of gatherings that take place without following precautionary measures, as they lead to a spike in cases, thus the depletion of resources and efforts made from previous stages in Bahrain’s virus fight.
